HOW TO ENTER

  • Entry to the competition is FREE.

  • Participants may join individually or by groups of three (3).

  • Prepare deck graffiti design that depicts a genuine Dutdutan lifestyle together with your name, address, birthdate, e-mail address, contact numbers and photo.

    • Use of offensive language or image on the artwork is not allowed.

  • E-mail your design to marketing@dutdutan.com.ph.

  • Deadline for submission of entries :

    • 1st Leg: June 14 2015

    • 2nd Leg: July 10, 2015

    • 3rd Leg: August 3, 2015

HOW IT WORKS

Stage 1: PRELIMINARIES

  • All entries shall be screened by a panel of judges and only twelve (12) entrants will be chosen to participate in each competition.

  • The 12 qualifiers will be announced at dutdutan.com.ph, and will be notified by phone and registered mail from a Dutdutan representative.

  • In the event that a qualifier will not be able to compete at the designated time and place of competition, the contestant who received the next highest score automatically qualifies to participate.

Stage 2: CONTEST PROPER

  • Board Graffiti Competition is a graff event that provides artists with opportunities to showcase the creativity and technique in graffiti, for exposure and due recognition.

  • Contest proper will be on the following Dutdutan ROADTRIP events:

    • SM North Edsa : June 21, 2015

    • SM San Lazaro : July 25, 2015

    • SM Dasmarinas : August 15, 2015

  • Participants will be given the option of using either the graffiti board or a skateboard to paint on, which will be provided for by the organizers. All graffiti must be completed on provided boards.

  • Graffiti/painting tools shall be provided for by the participants.

  • Participants must complete their entries within five (5) hours.

  • Only three (3) entries will be chosen from each event, which will be announced and awarded before the event closes.

  • All chosen entries will be exhibited at Dutdutan15, where the 3rd, 2nd and 1st placers will be chosen and recognized.

THE RULES

  • All graffiti pieces must be executed during entered events. Any entry found not executed during the event entered in will be automatically disqualified.

  • Incomplete entries and misspelled words will be disqualified.

  • Do not bite (copy) someone else’s work. A copied entry will be automatically disqualified.

  • Participants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by the organizers will be disqualified from the competition.

  • Decision by the panel of judges is final.

  • All graffiti piece finalists shall be the property of Dutdutan ROADTRIP and Zoo York Philippines, and reserves the right to use the artwork for future publication, display or as deemed appropriate, but always duly acknowledging the maker.

PRIZES

1ST Place Winner : P25,000 cash + Zoo York Skateboard

2nd Place Winner : P15,000 cash

3rd Place Winner : P10,000 cash

Finalists : P5,000 cash
